Review::. Will Ferrell is terrific
as innocent, fun-loving Buddy. He makes you feel for
Buddy while laughing at his awkwardness. The casting of
Ed Asner and Bob Newhart as Santa and Papa Elf was brilliant.
It was nice seeing the movie made with stop motion animation and forced perspective instead of being laden with CGI. It gave just the right feel for this flick. The movie moves along at a good pace with plenty of laughs to go around, along with giving that warm, fuzzy feeling that holiday flicks are supposed to give. Elf is definitely a movie the whole family can enjoy. US Box Office::. $173,398,518 Links::. Elf Official Site Elf @ IMDb Elf @Yahoo Elf © New Line Cinema |
