Synopsis::.
A small guy from a
working-class family has dreams of playing football for

Sean Astin is terrific as Rudy, a young man who everyone
has always assumed is too small and dumb to fulfill his
dream of playing college football. Ned Beatty also delivers well
as Rudy's dad who doesn't want his son or himself disappointed
if Rudy fails.
Note::.
Not only is Rudy our
first real glimpse of Jon, it is also
the film on which he met friend and future collaborator,
Vince Vaughn.
